Fashion FYI: Kids Choise Awards 2013

This year's KCA ceremony was held at the USC Galen Center, on March 23rd, in Los Angeles.
And, rumor has it, it was a totally crazy "Slimy Party"!!!

Some of our favorite stars decided that the orange and purple carpet was the right place to show all of their beauty, fashion sense, and some of the hottest new Spring/Summer trends!

And here are some of the best dressed of the night:

Ciara Bravo:

Three words: Oh My God!!!! This little lady knows her game!
Nickelodeon's favorite little sister went from "little" to "big" with just one pair of awesome shoes!!
Her dress was beautiful (loving the yellow, btw) and her hair and makeup looked just flawless.
Ciara, you're the sweetest little big thing on earth!

Stefanie Scott:

The ANT Farm blondie looked fantastic on a Keepsake neon peach dress (very on trend), and blue and yellow shoes.
Her hair was out of her face, letting her beautiful features show, and her makeup looked pretty and polished.
She looked classy, young and fresh. Perfect for a KCA ceremony! Or a Spring party! You never know when that boy is going to show up...

Debby Ryan:

The Disney girl knows how to make chins drop!
This beautiful Topshop dress with a cutout in a neon orange looks amazing with her skin tone, along with the gorgeous lipstick!
And the Jean Michel Cazabat shoes put the look together like no other pair would!
Her hair looked flawless, and the overall outfit was a success!

Miranda Cosgrove:

Ok guys, can you say mermaid?? That's what Miranda looks like to me!
Probably because of the blue on her Stella McCartney dress... Yeah, that's it!
But honestly, my favorite things about this look are the hair (beachy waves, amazing highlights and super healthy) and the shoes (Giuseppe Zanott - AMAZING!).
The Jimmy Choo clutch and the Loree Rodkin jewels totally tie the look together!
You go mermaid Miranda!!!!

Kiernan Shipka:

Well there's an outfit that would leave "Men Mad"!!! (she what I did there? Mad Men... "Men Mad"... Lame? Ok... sorry about that!)
ANYWAYS! The young actress rocked this beautiful floral dress, adding some black booties and very natural makeup.
Personally, I love this little girl's style! She always looks very mature, classy and vintage/retro.
Pretty good for a 13 year old!!

Victoria Justice:

Victoria was one of the most wanted ladies of the ceremony! Victorious won Favorite Tv Show, and she was also running for Favorite Tv Actress.
Well, aside from that, she was also one of the best dressed ladies of the ceremony! She was wearing a gorgeous Pia Pauro dress (loving the tribal pattern), amazing neon Aldo shoes, a peachy Nancy Gonzalez clutch, earrings by Sarah Chloe, CBL by CB Luxe's bracelets and a Kami Lerner ring.
Also loving her new hairdo!
And the simple makeup brought all the attention to the outfit.

Madison Pettis:

WOW! Can you believe this? She looks so... big!!!!
I still remember her on Hannah Montana and The Game Plan! She was such a little girl!
And look at her now!
Madison is looking stunning!
That mint green dress flatters her figure and her skin tone perfectly, the shoes and jewelery are amazing, and her wild curly hair makes it perfect!
She's a young women now!
Watch out, because Madison is coming!!!

Ariana Grande:

This girls is just adorable!
I'll never get enough of her sweetness!
The "redish pink" dress totally made her look like a cupcake, and the nude shoes made it perfect!
As usual, her hair and makeup look flawless and she always looks super happy!
Oh and btw, don't forget to check her new single “The Way” when it come out, on March 26!
I can bet it's awesome!

Fivel Stewart:

Now this girl has not only an amazing voice and an amazing brother (had to say it...), but also an amazing sense of style!
Her hair looked beautiful in that hairdo, and her dark smoked look made her eyes stand out!
She wore a white belted dress with a sheer overlay, lots of bracelets, and a pair of amazing red pumps (my favorite shoes out of all the ones I've seen walking this carpet!).
She tied it all with the black nail polish and rocked her way to the ceremony, with her very very hot older brother (sorry, I'm kind of obsessed with him...)!

Bridgit Mendler:

Are you Ready for Bridgit Or Not?
Well, if your answer was "not", then get ready because this girl is about to show everyone she's not only a another Disney pretty face!
Her voice is amazing (if you haven't heard her album My Name Is, you have to go and listen to it - after reading this post, of course!) and so is her outfit!
White and metallic are really big trends for this season and Bridgit knows exactly how to make them work!
Her hair and makeup made her look angelic, and so did the rest of the outfit.

Really pretty look, no doubt!

Bella Thorne:

I'm a huge fan of this girl and of her fashion, and this outfit is no exception to that rule!
She rocked this gorgeous two piece from Bec & Bridge like only she can, adding some Alice + Olivia neon pink shoes, beautiful Dannijo jewelry, and a Juicy Couture bag.
I'm in love with the slick hair and the bold lashes!
Another magnificent look, from the magnificent Bella Thorne!

Selena Gomez:

Ladies and Gentleman, here's your Favorite Tv Actress!!!!
And could she look more adorable?
Her peplum pastel blue top and white shorts (Oscar De La Renta), along with the Gucci heels (her legs look infinite!) and the Diane Von Furstenberg bag made her one of the best dressed!
But my favorite thing has to be the blue liner she was wearing on her waterline! I've been wanting to see these celebrities dare more with their makeup for so long!!! Hope it's finally time!!!
Congratulations Selena, on the award and the great look!

Zendaya Coleman:

Zendaya made her appearance at the ceremony with her Dancing With The Stars partner Val Chmerkovskiy (who is a total hottie, btw!) and wearing this amazing Alice + Olivia floral dress.
Love how she added the sweater and the Peter Pan collar to spice it up (or should I say... Shake It Up??), and the shoes are just PERFECT!
Great choice Z!!
And good luck on DWTS!

The Boys!!!!!

This time, the guys also decided to show off their style!
You don't believe me? Ask Cody Simpson, Logan Lerman, Booboo Stewart, the BTR guys and Avan Jogia!!
From classy to casual, these guys know their game!
Talented, very handsome and with a fashion sense...? YES PLEASE!!!

Get The Look:

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for! Yes, it is that moment when I show you how to recreate one of the best looks of the ceremony!

This time, I choose this very Spring inspired outfit, worn by the beautiful Lucy Hale

She wore an amazing white dress from Dior, a very nice pair of Brian Atwood black pumps, a Nancy Gonzalez clutch, a BaubleBar necklace, earrings by Norman Silverman and Dana Rebecca rings.
Her makeup looked flawless, with the pop of pink on the lips, and her hair was in a stunning ponytail!

The best thing about her look is that she kept it simple, classy, but still very on trend (with the colors - black and white - and the bright pink lips; two huge trends for this Spring season) and party appropriate as well.

She looked just AMAZING!

To recreate her look, start by trying to find a white dress with a similar cut, like this one from H&M.

Then, find a thin black belt to cinch in at your waist, like this one from Cole Haan.

To achieve Lucy's look, you're going to need the right pair of shoes! I have two options here, both from New Look.

To finish the outfit, try to find a cute pink clutch (the following one is from Piperlime.gap.com ) and some nice jewelry. The ring is from Forever21 and the necklace and earrings are from New Look.

Lucy's hair was up on a sleek ponytail, with some front pieces pulled out to frame her face.

As far as beauty, she's has some bold lashes (try some false lashes, like these from Ardell), a bright pink lipstick (like MAC's lipstick in Full Fuchsia) and baby pink nails (try OPI's Pink-ing Of You).

And that's it! Now you can go out this Spring looking as fashoinable as fashionable gets!
You can even say you took inspiration from a Little Liar...

And that's it guys!!
I hope you enjoyed this Fashion FYI!
Let me know if you like these types of posts and what I can do to make them better!

And I'm sorry that I don't have the labels and designers of some of the looks. I really tried, but I couldn't find them anywhere!
If I find them, I'll add them.
And if you guys happen to know any of them, please let me know.

Btw, which were your favorite looks walking the carpet of this year's KCA ceremony?
And which were your least favorites?
Let me know on the comments below!

Thanks for tuning in!

Hearts Hugs and Kisses

With love,
Ella<3
