Fashion FYI!!! Teen Choive Awards 2012

Hey guys!

So I decided to start a new "series" here on my blog called Fashion FYI!

It's where, after a event, premiere or something like that, I do a fashion critic of my favourite looks from some stars we all love! And, at the end, I will try to show you how to recreate one of them, using similar and less expensive pieces!

Ok! So the event I'll be talking about is the 2012 Teen Choice Awards show, that happened the passed 22 of July in L.A. Then, there was the after party, for DoSomething.org and Staples, to were some stars even changed clothes for, always keeping the glam!

Here are some of my favourite celebrity looks:

Taylor Swift:

The country music princess looked amazing on this angelic Maria Lucia Hohan dress. The back of the dress was beautiful and made the dress a little bit more daring. The shoes (PRADA) made this outfit perfectly put together. My favourite thing was probably the pretty pink earrings, that added a pop of colour and just the right amount of details.
Her hair was in a perfect updo and her makeup was, as always, flawless.

Cymphonique:

The "How To Rock" star looked perfect on a white Kira Plastinina dress (that totally flatters her figure!) and Steve Madden sparkly shoes. She added some Christian Dior earrings and a ring by Chopard, which made her outfit complete.
Her makeup was simple and beautiful and her hair looked perfect with those loose soft waves.

Ariana Grande:

This girl will never stop surprising in a adorable way!
Her "macaroon inspired" (by Kenley Collins, from Project Runway), that only she can rock, and some nude pumps that made her legs look gorgeous!
She had very neutral makeup (which flatters her face) and her perfect magenta hair in a flawless side ponytail.
Cute and sweet, just like her!

Victoria Justice:

This girl really is Victorious!!
She was looking outstanding in a Gomez-Garcia high-low dress with a very fun pattern and some nude Schutz shoes. She finished the outfit off with a Merkin Lauren clutch.
Her makeup was flawless and her hair looked healthy and shiny, as always.

Lea Michele:

The Glee girl did not disappoint us with her amazing style!
She looked amazing in this short, figure flattering and glamorous dress and some platform silver pumps (Versace) and jewelery by Stephen Webster.
She had clean and fresh makeup (I personally love the big lashes!) and her hair looked perfect, while still saying "hey, I just woke up like this!".
Perfect!

Kristen Stewart:

The vampire girl is always her edgy self!
She made a statement at the award show with her leather pants and fun blazer (Roberto Cavalli). She finished the look with a plain and simple white top and pointed toe black kitten heels.
Her hair looked amazing, with the long waves pulled to the left side. And I just adore the little braid on the right side!
Her makeup was also looked great, with a black metallic eyeshadow and nude lips.

Hayden Panettiere:

This girl looks always amazing!
Her beautiful and shiny Zuhair Murad dress totally flatters her, and I just love the back! But my favourite thing about her outfit is definitely the shoes (B Brian Atwood)!!! I'm a shoeholic and, trust me, these shoes made me go crazy!! They have a mix of colours and animal patterns that make the daring and amazing!
She had beautiful hair and makeup.

Nina Dobrev:

This vampy girl look always amazing, doesn't she?
With her J. Mendel petroleum blue dress, her Jimmy Choo golden shoes and some simple but glam Coomi jewelry.
Her makeup featured some gold eyeshadow, worthy of a Greek goddess, and nude lips. Her hair looked perfect with a braided half up- half down and the over all look was flawless!

Zendaya:

The Shake It Up star did not attend to the TCA's but she sure shaked the after party red carpet with a beautiful white vintage dress (that her designer found), which she edged up with a black leather vest.
To finish her look she added some very cute fuchsia heeled sandals.
Her makeup was flawless and I just looooove the hot fuchsia lips! Super Summery!! And her updo? Perfect!

Bella Thorne:

This girl (in case you don't know yet) it's my all time idol! Mostly in fashion!
And she surprised on that night on the pink and red carpets twice! Yes, twice!! 'Couse she went all out and wore two outfits!

The first one, for the TCA's pink carpet, was a beautiful combo of a pale pink sparkly high-waisted skirt and a pale pink top (All Saints ). She finished it off with a bold gold necklace and some amazing sparkly silver shoes (Brian Atwood).
She made the look perfect with her beautiful makeup and flawless hair (love the parted bangs).

At the red carpet for the after party, she wore a beautiful ballerina gold dress with lots of amazing details on the top (Sherri Hill), and some beautiful golden shoes (Christian Louboutin - I know, I know, every girl's dream!).
I love how she left her eye makeup and made the all look bolder with the gorgeous red lips! The hair is also the same.

Demi Lovato:

And last, but totally not least, here the host of the TCA's!!! Our strong girl, Demi!
She went to the pink carpet with an amazing geometric Falguni & Shane Peacok dress with some feathers and an AMAZING pair of Christian Louboutin shoes!
Her high ponytail was outstanding and that makeup looked amazing.

And I also wanted to highlight the third look she wore at the ceremony, which was an amazing black edgy dress and a super rocker studded leather jacket.
My favourite thing was the dip dye blue hair! She looks amazing with it!

Get the look:

Ok so the celebrity I choose to recreate the outfit of was the always beautiful Selena Gomez!

She looked just amazing on her hot pink DSquared dress and her white Herve Leger shoes.
Her skin looked bronzed, her eyes were hypnotizing and her lips were pretty in pink!
Her hair was stick straight.
Over all, she looked cute and flawless!

Ok, so for the dress I found this beautiful one (Forever21) that has a similar shade of pink! The dress is a little more detailed, but I found that great! I wish I could have found a more looked like one, but this was the best I found.

For shoes, these white ones are very similar to Selena's and not has expensive (Asos).

For hair, just have it straight and sleek.

For makeup, use a nice bronzer (Benefit's Hoola Bronzer) to give you that sun kissed looks, a golden highlighter (MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle) to give you that gold shine, a really black liner (MAC's Eye Kohl in Feline) to define your eyes and a cute pink lipgloss (MAC's Pink Poodle LipGlass).

And there you have it! Your own Selena Gomez TCA's inspired look!!´

Outfit Idea - Summer Date!

Hey guys!

So this post is for all the girls out there that are in looooove ;) haha

This outfit is perfect for a Summer time date! You want to look cute and romantic, but not like you care too much ;)

So here is a very nice outfit that won't let your soul mate take his eyes out of you!

Let's start!!

Start with a nice, feminine and flirty dress, like this flower printed one from Forever21.

Then, for shoes, I have 3 options: the flat (Zara), the wedge (Steve Madden) and the heel! The flat and the heel bring out the coraly orange in the dress and the wedge brings out the belt in the dress and it's a more neutral colour.

Then, to complete your look, all you gotta do is accessorize!! First, add a nice vintagy looking necklace (like this key one), some nice bracelets and a cute romantic ring (like one of these three). All the accessories are from Forever21.

And you're ready for you guy ;)

Ok so that was it for this post!!!

Hope you guys liked it :D

June Favourites!!

Hey guys!

First of all, sorry I haven't been posting much, but I'm in a place of wispy Internet reach, so it's kind of hard for me to post or upload anything!
But I made it!!

So, now, into the favourites!!

Face:

I have been using these for a while, but since they were never in a "favourites" before and I just got a new pack (which it's probably my 5th!), I figured I would! They are the Say Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Facial Towelettes, from Sephora. I love them!! They're the only wipes that don't hurt my skin and don't seem to leave a residue on my face. Plus, the packaging it's great, keep the wipes always moisted. The only disclaimer I can do is the smell. They smell a lot like cucumbers! Which I don't love, but I'm ok with, because they are really good quality!

The other face item is the Essence Mattifying Compact Powder in 07 translucent. I got this in the beginning of June, 'couse my old powder was dead! I couldn't take anything out of it anymore! So I went on a hunt for a new powder an, as Summer's just around the corner (and with it, tanning), I decided to get a translucent powder, so I wouldn't have to buy many powders with different shades.
I ended up getting this one and I really like it! It keeps me mat and it was super inexpensive!

Eyes:

For eyeshadow, I've been wearing the Essence Colour&Shine Eyeshadow in 01 fabulous. I wear it every single day! It's amazing! You can choose to just swirl your brush in it and use it all over your lid, blend into the crease, and you have a 2 mins look done; or you can use the lighter eyeshadow concentration on your inner lid and the darker eyeshadow concentration on  your outer lid and crease, and you have two eyeshadow in one! It's great, beauty«iful and practical! Perfect for an on-the-go girl like me! (btw, the picture is not very good quality because the ones from the site weren't true to the product, so I took the photo myself! Sorry for that.)

Ok, so my last eyes product it's a mascara and it is the Visions Freaking Amazing Waterproof Mascara. Well, I don't think it is that "freaking amazing" as a mascara, but it is a nice waterproof boundary for my lashes! So, what I like to do is use my favourite mascara of all times, which is the Maybelline One By One Mascara, and then add a thin layer of this mascara! Like that, I'm sure my mascara doesn't sweat off my lashes and I won't end up with panda eyes!!! Even though pandas are cute, only them can get away with a total black eye ;-)

Lips:

Ok, so my first lip favourite it's the Stay With Me Longlasting Lipgloss in 03 Candy Bar by Essence (full review). I can't get enough of these lipglosses!! I totally adore them! They are super pigmented and vibrant. And this special colour just screams Summer! And can I just say, these applicators are perfect!!

Now, my last three lip favourites are all from MAC. The first one is the Cremsheen Glass in Petite Indulgence. I really love this colour! It's pink enough so you can say you have pink lips, but it's sheer enough so you can wear it everyday and not have some "in your face" hot pink lips! Perfect for who wants to look nice but still be discrete. The only bad thing is that this gloss came in the Pink Ornament of this year's MAC holiday collection.

I've also been totally loving MAC's Lipglass in Impassioned. It's an amazing bright and vibrant pink toned coral! It's super pigmented and bright! Perfect for Summer! I just love it!!

And now, finally, my last lip favourite and the most amazing of them all: MAC's lipstick in Morange!! It's an Amplified, which means that the colour of the product in the tube it's amplified in your lips. Meaning: it's amazingly bright, vibrant and pigmented!! It's one of the most pigmented lipsticks I've ever seen! And the colour (bright orange) it's amazing and totally screams Summer!! It's my favourite lipstick ever!!

Nailpolish:

This month I totally loves Catrice's nailpolishes in Primp My Shrimp and ACid/DC. The first one is a beautiful peachy pink coral colour that just says Spring! And the second one is a vibrant green that totally catches your eye! I really like them!

Non-beauty favourites:

This month I have two book favourites! I read the first one in the middle of the month and the second one at the end of it, but I loved both soooo much that I had to feature them in my favourites! The first book is Hush,  Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. And the second one is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. They were two of the best books I've ever read and I totally recommend them!

To end this month's favourites, I have two favourites songs from the same singers. Their names are Coco Jones and Tyler James Williams. They are from this new movie called Let It Shine These songs really speak to me and I've been listening to them like crazy! Hope you guys like them :-) The first one's called Guardian Angel and the other one's called Me And You

Ok so that was it for this month's favourites!! Hope y'all enjoyed :-D
