All ready for Prom!!

I know I was not supposed to do other Prom related post but I saw this video from Macbarbie07 and I had to share it with you guys!

I love the over all look: the makeup, the hair and the outfit!
She takes you through all the steps to get the flawless makeup and the beautyful flowy hair and then she shows you her dress, shoes and all the accessories!

Prom makeup!!

Hey guys!!

This is my Prom makeup post.

Like all the other Prom related posts, it's divided in categories: face, eyes, cheeks and lips!

Let's start!!


Face:

For foundation, I suggest you don't use one that has SPF in it becouse it will make you look very pale in photos. One that's not too havy and has a medium to high coverage will do!! I suggest Make Up For Ever's HD Foundation.

For concealer I suggest MAC's Select Cover-Up. It's has great coverage to hide that annoying pimple that appeared right on your Prom night!

For powder I suggest Revlon's PhotoReady Translucent Powder. It will make your makeup last longer and, since it is translucent, you don't have to worry about getting one in your skin tone!

Oh and, also, I suggest using a stippling brush becouse it gives you a flawless finish! This one is from Elf.

Eyes:

For eyes I have 3 different options for you guys!

The second one is a brown, neutral smokey eye. Perfect for the girls who want the lips to be the bold ones! See how to get it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhBeBGk_kfw

Cheeks:

For cheeks I have two blush suggestions, a highlighter and a bronzer.

The fist blush is just a very neutral one that will look good with any makeup look you wear! It's NYX's powder blush in Angel.

The second one is a coral blush. Coral is a big trend for Spring and it looks beautiful on your cheeks! This is Benefit's Coralista blush.

For highlighter, I suggests Benefit's High Beam. It gives a beautiful glow to your face.

For bronzer, I suggest Urban Decay's Baked Bronzer. I really suggest you contour your face when you're going to have pictures taken becouse it makes you look way better. 

Lips:

For lips I also have three options!

The firts is the perfect one if you went for a very dramatic eye (like a black smokey eye or something very colourful) and you want your lips to be nude but not completly without colour. This is a Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy.

The second is for the daring and classy girls who want their lips to be the main focus of the night!! The classic red lips! Start by outlining your lips with a lip linner (like MAC's lip liner in Brick) and fill them in. Then use a red lipstick over it (like MAC's lipstick in Russian Red). Remove the extra by bloting a tissue. You're done!

The last optin is a Spring must have: pinky coral!! I love this combo: MAC's Viva Glam Nicky lipstic and MAC's Sheen Supreme LipGlass in Mango Sheen. Perfect!! It's my favourite lip combination for Spring/Summer 2012!!

Ok so that was it! Oh... wait!!!! Actually, some days ago I found this beautiful and amazing Prom Makeup tutorial made by Juicystar07 (probably my favourite makeup guru ever!!) that I decided to share with you!! It's perfect for any special occasion!! I just love it!!

Prom Hair!

Hey guys!

This is other post of my "Prom series".

This one's gonna be all about the hair!!

I also separated this post in categories: updos, ponytails and half up half down. Each category has 2 hair styles.

Updos:

Ponytails:

Half Up Half Down:

Half up half down hairstyle are very in and perfect for special nights like prom!

The sencond half up half down hairstyle (and last hairstyle of the post) is my favourite of all hairstyles I've ever seen!! It's amazing and so beautiful!!! I can't get over how gorgeous it is!!!! This is the accessories part of my "Prom series" :-D

I've also divided it in categories: necklaces, rings, bracelets, clutches, hair acessories and earrings.
Each category will have 3 items.

Necklaces:

This first necklace is very simple and classy! Perfect for complementing a very bold outfit! From Clair's:

Clutches can be a girl's best friends when it comes to Prom! They're fashionable and they make sure you have everything you need for the big night (lip gloss or lip stick, eye liner, a little mirror, phone and some money)!

Prom Shoes!

Hey guys!

This is going to be my second "Prom series" post!

And it's going to be all about my biggest obcession... SHOES!!


I also separated them in categories: flats, wedges, low heels and high heels. Each category has 5 pairs!


Let's start!


First, the Flats:

Don't think that just becouse it is Prom, you have to go for heels! Flats can be original and classy too!
The first option (from Steve Madden) is the very neutral black leather ballet flat with a fun detail that makes it very original:

The second option is a very simple and girly pair ballet flats, perfect for those very feminine and sweet girls! From Forever21:

The 3rd pair is another very girly one, but with a daring touch to it! From Steve Madden:

This pair is for those girls who love to have their shoes in the spotlight!! Also from Steve Madden:

The last pair of this category is different from all the others! It's one of my favourite kinds of shoes: Oxfords! Plus, is in a very girly and original colour! From Aldo:

Now, into Wedges:
Wedges are a great way to wear heels but still be compeletly comfortable! And, just becouse it's not a killer heel, it doesn't mean that it isn't a killer shoe!! A great example of that are this amazing shoes from Aldo:

Now, this pair is for the girls who like to go simple but still have some edge or for the girls who want the dress to be the main focus of the night! From Forever21:
