Neutral Spring Makeup Look

Hey guys!

Today I'm gonna show you a neutral look that I'll be wearing for Spring like crazy!
It's very basic and simple!

So here goes...

First, start by using MAC's Studio Moisture Tint to unify your complexion without being too heavy on your skin.

Then, use MAC's Select Cover-Up to cover your dark circles and any blemishes you might have.

After that, to set it all, use Essence's Fix&Matte Translucent Powder with a fluffy powder brush.

There's the skin! Next, eyes. Start by priming your lids and brow bone with Essence's I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base.

Then, for eyeshadow (all MAC eyeshadows), use Woodwinked on your lid.

Then, use Soft Brown on your crease.

Use Expresso to deepen up your outer corner.

Finally, use Brule to highlight your brow bown and your inner corner.

To finalize the eyes, use Essence's Kajal in white in your lower water line,

and then, after curling your lashes, use your favourite mascara (mine is Maybelline's One by One).

Now, for your cheeks, I propose a cream blush couse it will stay longer in the warmer weather. I personally like MAC's cream blush in Something Special.

To finish off your look, you need something on your lips! So I suggest MAC's Viva Glam Cindy (it's one of my favourite lipsticks ever!). And, as it is a Lustre, you don't really need a gloss to wear over it.

So there's one of the makeup looks I'll be wearing all Spring long!

Outfit Idea

Hey everyone!

Today I wanted to start someting new here on my blog! So I decided to start a new "series" of posts that I like to call Outfit Idea, where I'll pick a style or event and I'll create an outfit idea for it (I'll include the store where you can get each piece, as always).
And, at the end, I might just give you a few tips on hair and makeup, so stay tuned to that ;-)

Ok so today, since spring is coming,  I'm in a mood for a casual and "Springy" everyday outfit (prfect for school)!


Bottom:


For the bottoms I choosed this very cute pair of jeans in this very feminine pastel purple. Casual and trendy! From Forever21.

Top:


So, for the top part of the outfit, I choosed two items: a flowery colourful top from Urban Outfiters

And a little pastel pink jacket, becouse it might still be a little cold in the beggining of Spring. From Forever21

Shoes:


For the shoes, I choosed this very simple but pretty pink flats, that match jacket. Also from Forever21.

Hair and Makeup:

For the hair, since it is Spring, I thought about a nice and feminine fishtail braid (very fashionable), like the one on the next pic.

For makeup, I would recomend for eyeshadow, any of the new Essence Marble Mania eyeshadows

For your cheecks, this very pretty MAC blush called Frankly Scarlet.

Finally, for the lips, the new MAC Viva glam Nicky Minaj lipstick is a must-have for a totally Spring look.

So there was my idea of a fun, girly and casual outfit for Spring, that's perfect for school!

Product review

Hey guys!

Today I'm gonna be reviewing another mascara. But this time it'll be L'Oreal Telescopic.

I love this mascara so much!!

It makes my lashes look super long and full.

The only thing I don't love about it is that is doesn't separate my lashes as well as Maybelline's One by One mascara does (check my review on that one here: http://beautyandfashionwithella.blogspot.pt/2012/01/product-review.html ).
Besides, it leaves my lashes feeling a little more hard then with Maybelline's mascara.

But I still like it a lot, mostly becouse of it's brush (which is the only thing I kind of prefer, comparing to the One by One mascara) couse it's very thin, which makes it easyer to get to root of the lash and to use it on your bottom lashes.


Over all it's a very good mascara and, since it is drugstore, it's also very affordable, which makes it even better!

Today's fashion trend...

LACE!!

It has been such a huge trend for the past seasons and I love it so much that I don't even know why I haven't done a post on it yet!

Lace it's that detail that turns any casual outfit into a super girly and feminine one!

Besides it's very versatile. You have it in so many colours and there are so many styles where you can insert them and they'll always look feminine and classic, giving you the right amout of sexyness without having to do to much!

Colour Yourself: Spring Screams Coral!!

Today I decided to dedicate a post on one of my favourite colours ever and one of the ones trending like crazy this Spring - Summer season: CORAL!!


It's an amazing colour that can be descrived as a pinky orange colour.


Here's some of my favourite finds with this very trendy colour:

Here's a very daring dress with amazing detail on the sleeves that's perfect for a Spring shopping day with your girls!! From Forever21.

Here's a very summery top, putting three of the hottest trends of the season togheter: the "one shoulder top", ruffles and flowery prints! Pair with some denim shorts and you're ready for a summer time date ;-) From American Eagle.

Here's another very trendy piece: a very flowy top, perfect for layering (which is my favourite trebd of all times, by the way)! From Forever21.

Now on bottoms, here's the perfect girly piece: this coral, high waisted shorts with a bow detailing. Very pretty and summery!! From Urban Outfiters.

Talking accessories, here's a perfect necklace to accentuate your girly side! Very whimsical and vintage, with the perfect combination of colours (coral, white and gold). The perfect detail to have in your collection! From Forever21 as well.

Now into shoes, here's a very girly and spring - summer season like pair! Perfect for a walk in the park with  your boyfriend or a shopping spree with your girls! From Steve Madden (it's called BLAAYNE).

Now here's another pair, very daring and pretty! Perfect for a Summer night out! Also from Steve Madden (called  REMMEDY).

Now getting into makeup, here's an amazing lip colour that (from what I heard) looks fantastic when you're tanned, becouse it is so bright! It's a MAC lipstick and it's called Vegas Volt.

For your eyes, here's an eyeshadow that will make a very pretty dramatic look (if you use it as a lid your crease colour) or give a fun twist on your everyday spring/summer (if you use it on your lower waterline). It's a MAC eyeshadow and it's called Paradisco.

Finally, a little treat for your nails!! This is the perfect Spring nail polish, very bright and happy looking! It's OPI's nail polish in I Eat Mainely Lobster.
